Sum Kiu is an illustrator born and raised in Hong Kong. She graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts in Hong Kong Baptist University [Bachelor of Arts (Hons)].  

 

Sum Kiu specialises in digital illustrations and she is passionate about visual storytelling. Inspired by her observations of the world and everyday life, she uses fictional characters and stories to embody truthful emotions and experiences. Among them, "Roots" is her first graphic novel ---- a graduation work that received distinction and awards.

 

Sum Kiu is currently working as a full-time illustrator at a publishing house in Hong Kong.
